The German Hunting and Fishing Museum opened its doors for the first time in 1934 and is nowadays located in a former Augustinian church right in the center of Munich. Only a few walking minutes away from renowned Marienplatz, it impresses with its great architecture including the „white hall“ - main aisle of the former church with white walls and high ceilings showcasing the hunting pieces of the museum. Furthermore, interactive elements, taxydermical objects, paintings and many other historical pieces demonstrate the art of hunting and fishing and its impact on environment and human culture likewise.
